I am pleased to introduce the new Gaskov Clergé Foundation (GCF) Website.
On behalf of the officers and members of the organization, I invite you to explore the new website to learn a little more about GCF's work. I am very excited about its debut because it offers a much more comprehensive and up-to-date insight into past current and future projects.
Since its inception in 1999, the Gaskov Clergé Foundation (GCF) has focused its philanthropic operations on empowering individuals one life at a time. GCF has given over 500 US volunteers the opportunity to bring health care to over 20,000 underserved men, women and children in Haiti. Our volunteers have made many critical interventions for patients who would have otherwise lost their lives due to non-existent access to health care. Thus far, the medical missions have profoundly impacted the volunteers and patients’ lives in ways that are indescribable. In addition, through the generosity of many, GCF now provides scholarships to over 180 children in Haiti, giving them an opportunity for a decent education and a brighter future.
In the face of the unimaginable loss of human lives caused by the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010 and the recent Cholera outbreak, the country finds itself in an even more vulnerable situation with drastically insufficient health and education infrastructure. The need to construct modern medical centers, hospitals and schools is now more than ever undeniable. That is key to the rebirth of Haiti.
To respond to this exceptional void, GCF and friends have taken the first steps towards building a modern medical center in the South of Haiti. It is our hope to offer all architectural and structural details to the people of Haiti so that such centers can be replicated across the country, with minimal architectural and design costs. GCF will also take the same approach towards building an academic center of excellence. Much has been done, but so much is needed, and none more than medical care and education. Nothing is more compelling than watching children who have such zest for life and resiliency, in dire need of basic, yet unavailable medical care and educational opportunities.
If you are interested about becoming a corporate partner, your contributions will support GCF medical professionals so they can continue to provide much needed assistance to the Haitian people. Our Brick Campaign will afford us the much needed resources to achieve our goal to build a medical center that will train and equip the Haitian medical professionals with the necessary equipment and tools to administer care to their own community.
GCF will hold several Award & Commemorative events in 2011 to honor individuals and organizations like GCF that have been instrumental in providing goods and services needed in Haiti. These events will provide the ideal forum for demonstrating your commitment to supporting your current consumers, while at the same time, providing you a variety of ways to help achieve both your philanthropic and business objectives. Our cause deserves your support and there are many opportunities for you to participate. Please feel free to inquire about additional opportunities that may not be mentioned.
In reading and looking at the images on this website, let it not only allow you to consider helping, but let it propel you to take action. Haiti needs your help now!
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to working with you to make these programs a great success!
Sincerely,

Cosy Clergé Joseph GCF Chairman of the Board
